Bartending Services
Higher Revenue to You While Giving Back
Higher Gross Revenue to Promoter. West Wind Events is starting a new program to deliver bartending services for community events and concerts. Our experience with Vineyard Jam demonstrated that event promoters typically receive about 30% of gross bar revenue when contracting for bartending. The West Wind approach increases revenue to organizers by guaranteeing a higher percentage of gross revenue.
Supporting Non-Profit Causes and Service Clubs. We can do this because our corporate purpose is to fund non-profit causes, so our profit margins can be less than our competition. As an additional benefit to your community, we use service clubs and non-profit volunteers to provide the labor. The wages and tips go to the organization the bartenders are volunteering for.
Our Process. Working with you, the number of bartending stations will be determined and corresponding number of volunteers needed. We will work with local wineries, micro brewers, and distilleries to plan a premium alcohol menu at reasonable prices.
Equipment & Permitting. West Wind Events will rent equipment as needed, purchase insurance, obtain an ABC license, and secure the necessary County food handling permits in a timely fashion. Please contact us, as we would love to increase the community benefit of your event at no cost to you!
All Our Bartending Volunteers Have State RBS Certifications
Service Club & Non-Profit Bartenders. Two 2025 music festivals in Solano County CA used volunteer bartenders, all with California Dept. of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) State training certifications. These servers were from Rotary Club in Fairfield-Suisun, Vacaville and Vallejo, plus Solano Land Trust. Mr. Johnston, President of West Wind Events is the 2025-2026 President of the Fairfield-Suisun Club and recruited the volunteer for Vineyard Jam Suisun Valley and the Dock Of Bay Music Festival in Vallejo.
Trusted & Certified Volunteers. Rotary Club member are trusted community volunteers. Clubs operate events each year using club members as volunteers. For example, the Fairfield-Suisun Rotary Club operates the annual BrewBash in downtown Suisun City. The Vacaville Club operates the annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament. Revenue to the clubs from bartending is used to support the work Rotary accomplishes in each community. Please Curt Johnston a call at (707) 249-1667 or email him at the address below.
